I'm Burcu Koroglu, founder of Point B Legal and an IAA-accredited Immigration Adviser specialising in UK immigration law.
Before founding Point B Legal, I worked for UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) and had collaborations with different UK Law Firms specialised in Immigration Law.
Working for Home Office/UKVI, I processed visa applications. I conducted risk assessments. I prepared decisions. I worked within the same systems, protocols, and decision frameworks that the Home Office uses today.
That experience fundamentally shaped how I approach immigration advice today.
My Approach
When I review a case now, I see it through two lenses: as your legal representative advocating for my client, and as someone who knows what a caseworker will look for when they open that application.
I understand how applications are assessed. I know what triggers compliance concerns. I have seen firsthand how a single missing document, an unclear timeline, or a poorly structured application can derail someone's plans - not because the case lacks merit, but because it doesn't meet the technical requirements caseworkers are trained to assess.
